The limited edition
1977 single malt whisky was bottled to commemorate The
Westin Turnberry Resort’s centenary last year, but in 2007
have proved popular ideal birthday gifts for 30 year olds,
as well as must-haves for whisky enthusiasts and
collectors worldwide.
The 1977 vintage was
chosen as this was the year that the infamous “duel in the
sun” took place at The Open Championship in Turnberry,
between Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus. The Vintage was
selected by the Glenfiddich Malt Master and Turnberry and
offers a mature and complex whisky, whilst still retaining
the fruity and malty characteristics of Glenfiddich.
