Inver House Distillers announced as official Partner to
Highland 2007
Inver House Distillers is delighted to announce its
partnership with Highland 2007, Scotland’s year-long
celebration of the area’s unique cultural landscape.
In a deal that includes both financial and in-kind support,
Inver House will unite the popular single malts created in
its distilleries in and around the Highlands - Old Pulteney,
Balblair, anCnoc and Speyburn - with Highland 2007’s diverse
cultural events programme which invites locals and visitors
alike to enjoy the area’s rich heritage, stunning landscape
and contemporary as well as traditional customs.
The year-long celebration presents a highly anticipated
programme across the Highlands covering six strands of
culture: arts, sport, heritage, language, science and
environment. It will include such varying events as the
O’Neill Highland Open, which will see 144 of the world’s top
professional surfers descend on the legendary Thurso East
reef break, to
InvernessFest – a new cultural festival in
Inverness between 15 and 29 July featuring one of the
world’s most celebrated musicians, Sir Elton John.
Inver House Distillers will welcome audience and
participants to events with warming drams of their single
malts which include Old Pulteney - one of the UK’s best
selling malts distilled in the northerly town of Wick; the
premium malt whisky Balblair which has just been re-launched
in stylish new packaging inspired by its pictish roots;
anCnoc a supporter of Scotland’s leading arts and creative
bodies; and Speyburn, the company’s most popular brand in
the USA.
