anCnoc Raises a Toast to Scotland’s Talent at the Arts and Business Awards

  

anCnoc, Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky was the toast of Scotland’s creative talent last night at the anCnoc sponsored 2007 Arts and Business Awards, which took place at the internationally renowned Edinburgh Festival Theatre. The prestigious Arts and Business Awards recognise pioneering partnerships between the business world and Scotland’s inspirational and internationally celebrated arts sector and as a keen supporter of the Scottish arts scene anCnoc was delighted to come on board as the official whisky and entertainment sponsor. 

Over the last few years anCnoc has launched a number of sponsorships with Scotland’s most prominent art venues, including Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre and Fruitmarket Gallery as well as Glasgow’s Arches, Tramway and Tron theatres; providing both product and financial backing for each venue to help support their emerging artists and events. Over 400 arts and business key influencers were welcomed to the Festival Theatre with an  anCnoc drinks reception before anCnoc sponsored entertainment from a whole host of Scotland’s leading singers and musicians, a delicious meal and the much anticipated award announcements.     

The winners of the eight coveted awards were selected as outstanding examples of business and art partnerships were:

Arts, Business and Young People – Dunfermline Building Society and National Youth Choir of Scotland
New or Returning Sponsor – BAA Edinburgh and Grid Iron Theatre
Arts & Business Individual of the Year – Audrey McIntosh (AAMCI Consulting ) working with Siubhal
Arts & Business Awards for Leadership -Paul Gudgin – Director of The Edinburgh Fringe from 1999 to 2007
