Celebrity gardener, Chris Beardshaw presented a £10,000 cheque to The Horse and Groom pub in Queninborough, Leicestershire, after it won the Pub Garden Competition held by Grant’s Scotch Whisky.  The national contest ran as part of the Grant’s ‘Garden After Hours’ campaign and rewarded the winner with the funds to have a major garden makeover. The Horse and Groom beat hundreds of entries from across the UK to claim the grand prize.  Owners, Linda Warner and John Wilcox, plan to transform their pub garden into a haven for their punters.

The Grant’s Garden After Hours campaign is part of a major investment programme for the No. 3* blended whisky brand.  The integrated marketing campaign continues through to the end of the year with further regional and national promotional activity planned.
