St Pancras Grand has launched the Whisky Bar. Dedicated to one of the world’s best loved tipples and with a menu compiled by famous whisky expert Johnny
Walker, the Whisky Bar is set to be one of
the best in London. “St Pancras Grand is the perfect venue for
a Whisky Bar” says David Best, General
Manager. “Designed by Martin Brudnizki, it
exudes an atmosphere of warmth and
finesse. Glowing spheres lighting the room
and high ceilings reach up to the Dutch
gold leaf roof. With Johnny Walker, we
have created a very special and extensive selection.
Cleverly divided into geographical areas, the menu is predominantly Scottish, consisting of
Lowland, Highland, Speyside, Cambeltown and whiskies from the islands. There are also Irish
whiskies, American Bourbons, Tennessee whiskies, blended, grain and malts. Choose from favourites such as Macallan and Johnny Walker or more obscure varieties like Mortlach and St
Magdalene with their various age statements, oak finished and cask strengths.
St Pancras Grand’s Whisky Bar also boasts a list of rare whiskies which are no longer in production.
Take for example, Rosebank 1990 (£19.50/glass), St Magdalene 1975 (£31.00/glass) and Dhallas
Dhu 1982 (£17.00/glass).
The Grand Restaurant and Oyster Bar is open daily between 11am and 10.30pm
and offers private dining, creating discrete surroundings for up to 10 people.
