The medium nougat flowers in that used two different types of 4-wide car bonnets whereas this one uses the same one for the eight outer petals.

The bright yellow-green of the stem itself has a strong contrast with the bright green of the leaves.

I emerged from my dark ages in 2011 after rediscovering my old sets in my parents' attic and haven't looked back since. It’s interesting to note that each flower makes use of two lime green 2×2 round plates, with the third closely matching the colour of the petals. Until the day comes where we see a LEGO Honey I Shrunk The Kids-themed set, minifigures wouldn’t be appropriate (nor to scale) here. If the LEGO Group is hoping to grow its adult market with these gateway models, then it’s definitely going the right way about it. The way they are connected looks slightly awkward but most likely they'll be inside the vase and out of sight anyway. Each flower head is built first in exactly the same fashion but with different coloured bricks for added variety.
