Scent is less sweet, no "burnt sugar" or cotton candy note, just a subtle sweetness, especially the scent is super creamy and cuddly.
It is neck and neck with TKN4 for sharpness and intrusiveness, but Sunset Riot probably wins that battle due to the lack of a citrus or other note to give it more sweetness/pleasure in the mix. I would say it’s for sure my favorite cheaper fragrance, and I’ll probably always keep it in my collection. It seemed to last pretty well, and after pouring through the reviews on here, I decided to take the plunge and purchase a full sized version.While the scent of black pepper and amberwood evokes a smoky halo, leaving a sensual and contrasting trail. Yes it smells similar to the Baccarat Rouge, however, the Baccarat Rouge is too pungent to me in the medicinal note, which is why I was really afraid of the Sunset Riot. The parallels to Baccarat are undeniable, but SR is much more suitable for everyday use and overall just fresher, more tart and thus great for spring and summer.
