About this deal

First of all, I already had some underlying hate/disgust for the H, Spencer, just cuz of the appalling story he told from the first book about that sexfest he had with his fbuddy’s roommate for 6 hours, which involved viagra... Like, EW. That was not funny at all and it was just plain disgusting. But honestly, I kinda liked him here just cuz he was really sweet to the heroine and he was like her personal cheerleader and was helping her achieve her dreams. I admire that but UGH he can just be a lil annoying sometimes. Mr. Master provides compliance and content distribution software solutions to some of the top radio groups in the country, including iHeartMedia, Cumulus Media, Townsquare Media, Audacy, and CMG. Charlotte is 25, rich and sheltered. She has an overprotective father and brother.. and body guards. She acts like a wimp and allows them to boss her around.

Like good old OW or family drama. Someone trying to kill you or kidnap you. But no matter what the couple stays strong and together. They COMMUNICATE!! They trust each other. They might get upset for a hot minute, but then they stop and think and realize there are two sides to every story. Brielle was great... when she wasn't being an absolute ditz. I liked her fun outlook on life and her connection with the kids. But, when she slid into ditz mode... ugh. Sheridan is the CEO of a multi conglomerate global company. At the age of thirty-five, that’s a huge accomplishment. Julian Masters is a judge and the owner of a billion dollar corporation, and the single father of a teenage daughter and a small child. He doesn’t have a bad life, as he has two friends that he has had since his school days, but he’s closed off to love.

I glance over to my dear friend. “I’ll bet you two hundred pounds that I have a date with her by this time next week.” “Double it. Four hundred,” snaps Masters. “You don’t have a chance with her.” T L Swan is an Australian-born romance writer who enjoys bringing the sexy stories in her head to life. While Swan enjoys her work in the Australian Schizophrenia Association, writing is her first love and something she enjoys doing in her free time. Her characters are strong and easy to love, and she works to ensure that they stay in your mind long after reading her books. The talented author is also a mother of three, and she enjoys spending time with her husband and their many spoilt pets. She enjoys doing other things, including drinking coffee, reading books with strong storylines, and an occasional decadent piece of cake. Historically, the title Miss has been used as an honorific for unmarried women or young girls. While both of these cases are still true today, Miss is also used to refer to women when their marital status is unknown or unimportant. I look over and see a man in a navy polo shirt who kind of looks like him. He’s taking a shot with his club. “Shit, is that him, Will?” So this guy, a mega rich judge got his wife pregnant accidentally but he did the "right" thing and marred her but he didn't love her and so they weren't really"together". He didn't keep a mistress, nope he hired multiple high end prostitutes to give him what he wasn't getting at home. Then he got drunk and had sex with his wife and baby 2 came along but when his wife falls in love with him he tells her he wants a divorce because he couldn't do it anymore. She then kills herself

What I love most was watching a man who is broken, striken by guilt and who has been holding a secret for many years, finally be able to reveal that secret. This secret is the reason why he is the way he is. A man who won’t let any woman get close to him and who has swore of love. We Finally get to see those walls around his heart loosen and see him opening himself up to the possibility of love. This was my first read by this author and I was entranced. The writing was brilliant, flowed beautifully and seamlessly throughout! The relationship development was superb, it was SUPER HOT and EROTIC, it was emotional, it was sweet and tender and yet volatile and painful at times. The added characters such as the kids and his parents just made my heart melt!!!!! In contemporary use, Miss is considered more appropriate for young women, if at all. The connotation of Miss as referring to an unmarried woman may be seen as dated or misogynistic today; men’s courtesy titles have never revealed their marital status, and many women would prefer for that to be the case for them as well. (Read on for options that are marital-status- and age-neutral.) I saw that this was recommended by some GR friends, it was on Kindle Unlimited and on the surface I was into the tropes - older, single, stern dad hires younger nanny (I love me some big age gap romances), a bit of isolation, some funny setups. So I was all ready for my road trip onto Rom Com Road, a stretch of highway I am very familiar with in Romancelandia. She gave us another deeply conflicted man, Julian, who never learned how to love; and a young cheerful woman, Bree, who decided to reinvent herself in another country. The chemistry was over the charts, but equally high was the angst level. So him and the h are hooking up, he discusses everything with his two buddies like they're teenagers. They speak about women in such a crude way I actually couldn't believe that this man was supposed to be a 39 year old judge....he acted more like a horny 18 year old and his buddies definitely weren't better No girlfriend. No wife. What do you have?” I ask. His dark eyes hold mine. “Friends with benefits.”

There was a bit of OW drama here and the H did sleep with OW, Sheridan, after meeting the h. They’ve been fbuddies for 10 YEARS, btw. So, that’s it? As far as you’re concerned we’re just going to keep going on like this?” “Like what?” he snaps. “Sneaking around.” “And what’s wrong with that?” Heat level: Hot. They have some hot tension, chemistry, and scenes -- but not so much it takes away from the story.

The heroine: Lady Charlotte Prescott - She is the daughter of an Earl, one of the wealthiest men in England, who has many interests in casinos and other companies. She has been sheltered and protected her entire life by her father, brother and bodyguards. She will some day be expected to marry someone from her same social status, though that kind of thing doesn’t matter at all to her. Later in 1975, Peter Mansfield and Andrew Maudsley proposed a line scan technique, which led to the first cross sectional imaging of human anatomy (cross section through a finger). In 1978, Hugh Clow and Ian R. Young worked at a British company called EMI, created the first transverse NMR image through a human head.In 1975, Peter Mansfield and Andrew Maudsley made significant contributions to the field of medical imaging. They introduced a line scan technique that revolutionized the way we visualize human anatomy. This technique enabled the first-ever cross-sectional imaging of the human body, starting with a cross-section through a finger. Their pioneering work laid the foundation for the development of advanced imaging modalities like Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The kids were the spawn of the devil and I spied through a window and caught him doing something obscene…. and equally fascinating. h rating: 4 stars. Brielle. I liked her. I appreciated how she stood up for those things she believed in, and how she didn't hide the fact that the H messed up and hurt her.

Because I only have nineteen days left to prove that I’m a good nanny and I really don’t want to wake Mr. Masters up.” She hesitates. “I want to speak to Julian, please.” This is where this genre gets me. So much necessary separation and drama. One gets mad and stays mad to too long, so the one who is begging is now mad. Then the one who was mad at first can't understand why the other one won't at least let them talk about it, even though they didn't let said person explain shit to them. And while Brell and Willow's relationship was a highlight, I didn't buy their relationship making a 180 in such a short period of time. Really, it could've been a major part of the storyline, to watch their relationship grow and change. Rather for them to call each other bitches and the next day Brell is the first person that Will has smiled at in years. That’s why, I normally do not read about couples with such age difference but I was somehow drawn to this book. I am happy that I gave it a chance, though. I liked this cuz I was in the mood for drama but this is the first time I couldn’t get past the H’s man ho past.

Do NOT assume the expected because when he reveals why he is the way he is, it makes total sense and I liked that it was not a cliché reason but a different one. Good plot twist, and as I said, don’t assume!
